FRIDAY - 6/17

JUNETEENTH ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Cool off with us in REO Town, on Friday, 6/17, for an ice cream social like you've never seen. From 4:30 - 6:30 PM, we will feature local/black-owned bakery, Sweet Encounter, and their ice cream selections.

Thanks to our sponsor, Milk Means More, we will be giving out 600 free ice cream sandwiches and popsicles. 

Join us for ice cream, music by All of the Above, children and youth activities, presented by Impression 5, and more.

JUNETEENTH MIXER

The 2nd annual Juneteenth Mixer returns with an evening of good food and good people. Featuring the black business giveaway/raffle, music by DJ Rex, dancing, soul food, and more. 

Bring in the Juneteenth Weekend with us.

All other tickets are $20. All proceeds go to granting black-owned businesses in the greater Lansing area.

SATURDAY - 6/18

JUNETEENTH FESTIVAL

The 2nd annual Juneteenth Festival will take place in REO Town,
shutting down South Washington Ave (between E. Elm and South St)
to traffic. The event features live performances, black-owned business vendors, a black-owned business panel discussion, the Kidz Zone, and food options from local black-owned food trucks and restaurants.
The Juneteenth Festival is free and welcomes the greater Lansing area and beyond to a day of celebration. Come hang out from 4-11 PM.

SUNDAY - 6/19

THE JAZZ NIGHT

We are closing the Juneteenth Weekend out with live jazz on Sunday, June 19th, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Join us at the Cadillac Room (Riverview Church - REO Town), for a night of smooth jams by 496 West Band and The Corzo Effect. Donations are accepted. Proceeds go towards local black-owned business grants.
